How Do You Give Lawyers the Descriptive Information They Need to Consider an Opportunity?

Title of Opportunity:
This field allows you to provide the opportunity with a descriptive title.

Agency Name:
You can choose your entity/organization from a drop down list of approved affiliates here.

Description of Opportunity:
This free form field allows you to provide descriptive details about the pro bono opportunity to give lawyers a better idea of what the work will include.

Practice Area(s):
This area allow you to link your opportunity to practice area(s) - the same practice areas that lawyers will use to search for pro bono opportunities when the visit the site. You can choose one or multiple (up to five) practice areas that relate to the opportunity.
How do I Let Lawyers Know About Any Skills, Experience, Training, Language Expertise Needed for an Opportunity?

Skills/Experience:
This is a free form field that allows you to give more details about any particular skills or experience that a lawyer might need for this particular opportunity. It is also a section where you can let lawyer know if they do not need to have skills or experience in advance. This is particularly important if you are interested in attracting new or inexperienced lawyers or lawyers who regularly practice in a different area, but are willing to take on and learn about the area of law to meet your client's needs.

Additional Language:
Does the lawyer need to be able to speak and understand a foreign language in order to be able to accept this opportunity? Tell them here.

Special Training Required:
Similarly, if specialized training is required, you can make sure it is clearly communicated using this field.

Training Available:
If your organization provides special training needed or if you have training available in general, complete this section. Again, this is the place to make a valuable pro bono resource known to interested lawyers (e.g. if you don't require someone to practice family law, but will train them in this area, you may attract lawyers to your organization whose regular practice does not lend itself to low-income pro bono matters).
